Zeke is a cruel human. His cruelty is particularly strange.
He is regularly, voluntarily cruel to himself. Recently he led others on a thirty six hour bicycle adventure that was mostly off road. They covered over three hundred kilometers.
They rode without sleeping. They rode so long and so far they their caloric consumption couldn’t keep up with their output. All of this was done in the rain and cold. After, their feet and hands were swollen, bleached and wrinkled from the wet. They could barely stand. No one felt much like talking.
Zeke is famous for saying It’s only another couple hundred meters or so when we’re bonked out in the woods. Zeke doesn’t plan to make our ‘Zekespeditions’ acts of cruelty. They merely turn out that way.
How was the ride Zeke?
Well, it started out ok. We struggled with some loose stuff. We got stuck in some rough stuff. Part way along, there was an old road bed. people said it was passable. It was full of brambles. We got cut a lot. In short? Punishing. Bruta…
