Perception and reality frequently have a gap between them.

Life it seems can come apart at the seams pretty quickly.

Sure, you might be ready for what the world has to offer and moving in a direction you’re happy with when things unravel quickly

Recently on a zoom call with my coach, as she sat down, her eyes grew big.

Oh my. My pants. I’ve cracked open my pants.

This for her was almost embarrassing.

Well.

Almost.

It would have been bare-assing or ass baring should that had happened on the Metro.

Instead?

We giggled together about a small bump in the road. The consequences of her wardrobe malfunction meant that we’d cut our meeting short so she could assemble a new outfit for the day.

Recently my cat Trevor had an issue. He’s a big boy with a tiny urethra. He had a blockage. His blockage became my entire world. His urine wouldn’t pass. My mind, nor my progress with work wouldn’t pass either.

Things seemed to be going according to plans.

Then the universe laughed!

And the seams fell out of my pants.

Life, progress and the lot somehow holds together.

Life somehow makes sense.

And it isn’t always what it seams.

As long as you’re still breathing and you’re not on a Metro with a dead cat and ripped pants, you’re likely doing ok.

Get at it.
