The weird wiring created by my unpruned synapses makes finishing things especially difficult. Beginning stuff is fun. The middle? That’s the best part of the ride. When it comes to endings though? I’m always bonked out by the end of stuff.
Fiona blew through here and trashed Nova Scotia eight months ago. Any remote or untraveled part of the province is likely tangle of toppled tree trunks, only passable with the slow work of someone with a chain saw.
Our yard, which only contained two large trees is still dealing with the storm’s aftermath as well. The leaves and twigs are all gone. Some were bagged and carted away by the city. Most though were heaped up in a pile and covered with horse manure and top soil. The wood will slowly rot.
