When in doubt, defrost the fridge

And bake a cake while you're at it.

Today I had great plans.

I planned on finishing my paperwork, see some clients

Then?

Get down to the fun times of writing.

Instead?

I rode my bike to work, ran into a friend and had a great conversation.

Next?

Ok. Client.

Then?

Some old friends popped by for a visit.

I only see them once a year and they make me happy to be alive.

After that?

Another client.

And all through this, I figured it was a good idea to defrost my fridge.

Without plumbing issues, what did ya expect - an easy day at the office?

Fast progress on the book?

Not today dear friends.

Sometimes, these distractions are me being lazy.

And sometimes ya just gotta clean out and defrost the fridge
