There are days I neither want to ride a bike nor write a post.
But with both of those things?
As soon as I get set up - whether it’s with my shoes for the bike or my keyboard for a little bit of a writing session, the rest becomes much easier.
Is every mile that I ride a blistering downhill that makes me feel alive?
Naw.
Some times my legs feel weak and I have no idea what prompted me to even embark on this journey in the first place.
This little dance here? This exploration of creativity and consistency?
Who knows where it will go.
Tonight though?
I was talking to a guy whose old friend dedicated his life to music.
There were times that he worked as a school bus driver to make ends meet.
For the last decade or so?
He’s been in an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band.
They have been considered the best Ozzy tribute band of all time.
And ever since The Prince of Darkness has stepped into another realm, demand has skyrocketed for Crazy Train - America’s best Ozzy tribute band.
And this Ozzy impersonator?
At nearly seventy years old, he’s being flown around America playing great gigs for high fees in big rooms.
Is it nutty to have a dream?
Sure.
But with consistency, by going out and riding or writing especially when you don’t want to, you never know where you might end up.
One foot in front of the other…
Keep making those circles with your feet you fools…
