What's more effective
simple or highfalootin'?
Levity?
Embrace your foolishness?
That’s the goal around these parts.
And apparently?
I’m long winded.
And can come off as highfalootin’
Kinda like el Doittorie in Commedia Dell Arte.
SEE! I JUST DID IT AGIAN!
(who doesn’t love an odd reference to the Renaissance comedy that basically underlies all comedy today)
crickets…
Ok then.
It is just me.
Anyway,
Whey you share the foolsletter, here’s an experiment: Share it with someone, describe it as levity and see what they think. Then tell someone else about it.
And try describing it this way:
The Remarkable Foolsletter wants nothing more than for you to:
Chill out
Calm the fuck down
And,
Laugh at yourself - nobody’s as uniquely idiotic as you.
And, ideally the writing here will help you do these three simple things.
Whaddaya think?
Is basic better?
Is highfalootin more fun?
What do your friends think when you invite them to read describing it two different ways?
Too Fred Flinstone?
Share it, find out how it goes then, lemmie know in the comments.
