How do you do it?
I hear that all the time.
How do you maintain your life as a mediocre father, second rate therapist, middling writer, so-so surfer and over the hill mountain bike rider all while sending emails daily? How do you manage to find such remarkable delight in spinning your wheels all while assuming such a prestigious and duty-filled title as the Scribe and Chief Blowhard of the Remarkable Fools Society?
Here’s my secret: I don’t do everything. I don’t do anything particularly well. Any progress has come from giving up.
Giving up is exceptional, especially learning how to give up on things that aren’t working.

Yep, my absurd insistence on keeping on keeping on is remarkably human - foolishly so.
