What do we do about those damn tall poppies?
a remarkably foolish approach
One doesn’t become one on purpose.
Growth spurts can happen to different poppies at different times.
We thrive under different conditions.
Sometimes, we get lucky.
Sometimes it’s our turn to shine. We get to be the tall one.
Other times we’re lucky enough to notice when things are going well for someone else. Imagine that - merely witnessing the magnificence of their unfolding glory with a shared sense of joy and wonder.
Imagine helping the tall poppies grow taller. Not in a sort of poppy prop kind of way, but instead, just letting the poppies grow up chaotically, each with their own perfect height.
