Look buddy, I know I brought you here to pull me outta this cave, but I don’t think I’m ready.

You don’t think you’re ready?

Naw. I just need a day - one day.

What for?

Then? Then, I’ll deal with the bills I have piling up. I’ll get the paperwork done.

What’s that got to do with anything?

I dunno. I’m not ready though. The basement is a mess! Give me a day to clean out the basement, then we’ll do that whole ‘creative thing, making my way in the world bit’.

Sure.

Great! Once that’s done, I’ll do the shed, and the yard and the woodpile.

What? That’s more than a day.

Fine. Give me a week. I’ll be ready.

Just a week.

Ok. A week with paid help.

Sure.

And make sure they know what they’re doing.
