Read those words with whatever tone you choose.

This again?

Really?

Let that choice determine the tone of your day.

The punctuation and stress of syllables can be revealing.

Play like a fool. Repeat the words aloud. Try to make it sound the same each time. Fight against the change.

Notice how difficult it is to keep things the same without running into a chanting monotone.

Then?

Put on some awful and uncool music. I suggest either Tom Cochrane’s Life is a Highway or Kim Mitchel’s Rock and Roll Duty.

Then explore all the ways that you can say the same way differently, how you can live another day doing essentially the same stuff with a different tone.
