There’s a word that comes to mind a lot with me lately.

I want to use it to connect with issues that people come to talk with me about.

Sadly, when it’s time for me to use the word, I lose the word.

And?

That’s likely under a lot of what I’m searching for.

I don’t think I’m alone in this search.

What we search for reveals a lot about us.

What’s just beyond the edge of our awareness that we can’t see but others can is really revealing too.

Last week, I received an incredibly helpful message from Karine Labrosse. She writes the newsletter Lab K and has appeared here on the podcast.

In a message with subject heading “one last thing” she wrote:

That came to mind yesterday: nobody is going to save you. Enjoy the integration brother.

Oh boy.

Did I ever feel seen.

(sadly not as I want to be seen, but seen none the less - I quite like it when colleagues send me zingers like this. Karine was being generous)
