Fundamental skills matter.
One of the oldest most fundamental skills of ‘humaning’ is our ability to dig.
They say up to a hundred and eight billion humans have lived here on earth up to this point. Of that hundred and eight billion, my guess is that a vast majority of them have spent time in their lives digging.
The majority of humans who have existed before you would likely find your digging skills laughable both in terms of technique, grace and endurance.
You likely suck the stink outta rotten eggs at digging.
Though many of us may never have the ‘need’ to dig today, one doesn’t need a foundation to repair in order to dig.
All you really need is a pick and a shovel and a willingness to dig.
If you inform people that you are willing to dig, there’s a very good chance that they will reward you…
