Tell me,

What is your experience with bankers?

Or mortgage people?

You know the officious, ocd, detail oriented people.

Hell, I know full well I’m likely describing a good number of y’all.

Paperwork and the attention to detail is something that with every passing year I am less interested in, less efficient with, less good at and more inclined to contract out.

Unfortunately in dealing with a recent banking endeavour, we were instructed to ‘get out ducks in a row.’

These people were obviously bankers.

Or perhaps they didn’t spend much time around ducks.

I have.

Though there are ducks with all of the discipline of troops on parade. Sure. I’ve seen them all lined up and moving in a pretty organized row together. This seems to be the exception, not the rule.

Most ducks I’ve witnessed travel around in disorganized blobs. They do not seem to move with any true sense of purpose nor organizational structure. I do believe that most ducks are actually anarchists.
