Book update!
It’s getting closer. I’ve made some edits, it’s getting smoothed out - the rough patches and such. Time for readers. I had some last time I thought that I had a draft like this one?
Only that draft? That one had too much artifice. It had a lot of construction, not a lot of play. It had a lot of meaning and story but not a lot of whimsy.
Worst of all?
I wasn’t fussy for how it sounded when I read it aloud.
I can’t really say what was wrong about it other than it was just wrong.
