The same walls, the same door, the dame day?
No more.
I’m moving on from my office, moving on from ‘conventional therapy’.
My therapy practice? It’s now moving.
Movement is medicine don’t ya know.
Our bodies were created to move.
For a couple of hundred of thousand of years, we needed to be much more active than we are now.
The comforts have increased. The amount of effort required to attain calories for heat, shelter and the continuation of life has become much more efficient. We have more calories of energy available to us than most humans who have ever existed.
What do we do with this abundant bounty?
We waste it.
We waste it with war, unnecessary competition, exclusion and conflict. On a personal level not only do we over indulge, but we also burn through unnecessary calories with addictions and personal dramas. When these things don’t work, we turn our energy against ourselves.
We are animals who do now exhaust ourselves enough.
