I’ve been pedaling a lot and going nowhere.

My feet are like my mind - forever spinning in circles.

Using a trainer is great.

Some say How can you just sit there pedaling and going nowhere?

That’s all I ever do on a bike anyway - I go pedal for a long time.

But in the end?

I always end up back at home.

I always end up back where I began.

Having a trainer and riding like a hamster on a wheel?

This removes the tyranny of decision making and the illusion of progress.

Instead?

I merely get the chance to lean into the joy of the blend between my body and this simple machine.

The mere act of pedaling becomes its own universe.

Progress?

You believe in progress?

Cute.
