I once knew a man who described himself as a ‘seeker’.

I always regarded him as a pretentious dipshit.

Seeker eh? What are you looking for?

His answer didn’t disappoint:

Liberty, love and social justice.

Wow.

What a high minded person.

And important too! They were on a big quest for ‘liberty, love and social justice’.

They must be highly capable - if they were going to find liberty love and social justice.

What’s more, they must have somehow been my ‘better’.

Me?

I wanted a weekend off and a better job than washing dishes.

My goals in life were simple: I just wanted to get paid to make people laugh and have girls like me. 1

I told him as much and was made aware of the fact that both this goal and I myself were, ‘problematic’ and that this was an example of my ‘privilege’.2

Over the years, the Beaker faced ass patty of a human demonstrated quite the ability to find problems and take afense.
