Five words. There are five simple words that complicate life. That’s it.

These words, when spoken by this fool typically are followed by days, weeks or even months of constirnation.

What are those words?

They are simple dear reader:

How hard can it be?

How hard can it be is the battle cry of the mildly competent.

When it comes to home repair and renovations it’s important to know, respect and work within your limits. As a remarkable fool, I’m fairly unaware of any limits I have. This lack of awareness leads to trouble.

Actually, it’s not that I’m unaware of my limits. In reality? I’m just really damn optimistic. Hope regularly blinds us from our limits.

I’m still at war with the toilet.

No, rats are no longer using my studio as a drying station along their sewer pipe excursions. The toilet though? It’s leaking.
