I am currently engaged in an email conversation that is moving slowly. We’re corresponding at almost the pace of letters. I send a message out one day and hear a reply a few days later. I then think for a while about what they’ve asked me, consider things a bit then get back to them.

We’ve been going back and forth like this for more than a month now.

I love slow correspondence

I love messages sent that actually take some time to arrive. Sure email arrives right away. Comments on the foolsletter show up right away too. At the same time, I like to linger with these sorts of things for a while before replying.

It takes time to be thoughtful.
