Zombie Post?

Zombie Post.

Sweet. Here we go.

I think my foot is nailed to substack.

And I’m holding the hammer.

I used to spend a lot of time trying to figure out the different social medias. But I didn’t know what I was using them for. Was I trying to build a practice? Was I trying to write a book.

I was living as a zombie

I was seduced.

I was seduced by stories of success punctuated by the age old catch-phrase of “And you can do it too”.

Offers of ‘learning platforms’ and the wealth that could be gained from ‘creating compelling online experiences’ danced like unicorns at the edge of the horizon.

Rereading notes from just before starting this foolsletter, I’ve discovered a plethora of hours spent comparing platforms, their relative merits, features and imagined future possibilities.

Spending hours comparing feature charts on software is nothing I ever set out to do. Instead, I get seduced by adverts on the Instagrams for some new software promising me millions for little effort while paradin…
