Kings, Queens, Jacks - assigned roles, status and suits.

Bound by their labels.

The Joker? They can be anyone, any suit that suits them.

In reality though? They’re still limited.

The Joker becomes the king, queen, jack ace or any of the numbers from two through ten.

The joke has thirteen options, thirteen ways it can raise its status, lower its status or match.

When you meet people, what kind of card are you?

Are you a static king, hoping the other king isn’t Trump?

Are you a lowly two, seeking status when the low cards win?

Do you let your status change and swing?

Can you operate as a joker socially?
