Conventional wisdom tells us that farmers and bakers eat well. Remarkable fools know otherwise. How do the foodmakers go unfed?
I know a couple in this situation. She farms, he bakes. She complains that they never have any bread in the house. He complains that they never have any eggs, chicken, beef or pork - despite raising all of these animals.
I asked them why and their response floored me. They are twice conventionally foolish. He never brought bread home from the bakery because he was such a great baker he sold out every day.
