Getting into a wetsuit after not surfing for 10 months is a miserable experience.
Wet suits are awful. They can be stiff and thick and tight. They limit and restrict my movement.
They say your body adjusts to the activities you do.
Even before getting into the water, I can tell that my body is not ready for surfing. Just from getting ready, my fingers are hurting from pulling this damn wetsuit on.
I can't even remember how to get it on efficiently. What’s worse, I brought the wrong one.I have a couple and these days, it’s been so long that I can’t really tell them apart.
This is an old one from a crappy manufacturer. It's delaminated.
It’s leaky too. I used Shoe Goo to cement a seam together. This seam perfectly lines up with my ass. After an hour in this thing, my ass will be so blistered.
Worse still, The Shoe Goo seam has created a series of speed bumps right where my balls are.
What the hell was I thinking - going surfing again? This is terrible.
