Oh dear. I’m going to tell you about one of my greatest loves.

Get ready.

You likely won’t need any tissues reading this.

But get ready none the less.

I am in love with jokes.

Any jokes. And pretty much every stand up.

Especially the offensive ones.

And with funny things?

I’m into the whole brevity thing.

Even though my writing doesn’t really reflect this.

I am simply in awe when someone creates something so simple that it’s as though they tapped into the bare essence of funny itself.

They’ve hit on some primitive, perfect sort of humour.

In one of the cases I’m most jealous about?

Not only did they hit the purest, most simple of funny,

But they reached peak beer advertisement as well

I’m talking about the Budweiser Wassap campaign that aired from December of 1999 to 2002. Not only is the most pure form of puerile comedy, the timing of the edits is exquisite.
