Have you ever known about someone, not yet met them, but really really wanted to meet? Someone you’d see a lot, yet conditions never seemed to let that happen? You might see them on the street regularly with paths crossing on a morning commute. Your eyes might meet one day, then the next you both look away, awkwardly avoiding a deeper connection - neither risking taking the relationship any further.

Oh sure, you’d know each other’s routes and habits so well that you’d anticipate where you’d pass on the way to work. It would’t necessarily be an every day thing. Somedays your kids would be sick, or they’d be on vacation. Missing that moment in the day for us SensitiveFools could be disappointing. It might even feel like a loss.

As I’m sure you can tell, I’m talking about myself. And with this person?

I find myself talking to myself like this a lot - especially if I hadn’t seen them for a while. A reasonable person - like Santa Clause might think that they were on vacation. But a Dramatic…
