Imagine being on a circle
Well. Two circles.
Then straight lines that connect to more circles.
These circles are wrapped in circles.
Then?
They’re powered by making circles with your feet.
The circles turn a circle connected with a small circle in the middle of one of the bigger circles you’re rolling on.
Though I’ve spent much time with my mind spinning and emotions whirling, when I’m making circles with my feet everything else falls away.
There are times when life feels circular. I’m right back where I’ve started. To my horror, my life can feel circular too.
Back where I’ve started?
Perhaps.
But perhaps on a sort of round(ish) lump of rock making circular / oblong orbits of something else round.
Circular thinking and circular acting, brings with it the delight of the familiar.
But these circles on circles are moving, covering ground, covering time.
When things seem familiar and repetitive and we feel trapped in circles of our own being, it helps to put on the brakes, stop for a moment and look …
