When was the last time you moved your toaster?

Do you dust regularly?

If so, when you do, is it essential for you to move EVERY SINGLE THING?

Isn’t it nice for that split second when as far as you can tell there’s no dust? I mean sure, there are always bacteria and mites and bits of dead skin and such but we can pretend that things are pure and clean if we can’t see anything at all am i right or am i a little obsessed here oh god someone stop me i might break down and begin a rage clean raging for cooksurface purity!

Ok.

Every now and then I can get that dopamine hit - that brief ahhhh of satisfaction - for the moment, there is no dust. For the moment, everything is complete - including myself.

Oh but the dust keeps coming.

And even if you have the capacity to be obsessive about dirt and dust, there is always that one place that you forget about. There’s always a big dust bunny snare that gets overlooked.

I would call this one of the ‘odd places’ in your house.
