Octopuses are grand creatures.

There’s really nothing like them on this earth.

Some suspect they came from other planets.

I like this idea. My favorite hero is an alien. They have two hearts. Octopi? They’re even better. They have three. That’s a whole lot of love if you ask me.

Octopus are highly adaptable. They can camouflage themselves. They can solve puzzles. They can navigate mazes.

And like a Time Lord which can regenerate, octopi can detach and regrow their limbs. Which, if you’re a Dr Who fan, leads one to wonder, are there creatures somewhere using octopi limbs to create rifts in time and space?

What’s most remarkable about the tentacles of octopi is that they are part of a decentralized nervous system. They do not run their actions through the central brain of the creature. They can operate independently with a great deal of dexterity while making decisions on their own.
