Oh the handwringing I’ve witnessed lately.

Here, in my tony little Dartmouth enclave, the natives are restless.

Well,

The neighbours are restless - my neighbours anyway.

Well.

That’s not true either.

It’s mostly been my lady neighbours.

They’re worried about their reproductive rights because a big orange turnip was erected president of a country that they don’t live in.

They seem concerned that here in Canadaland our next prime minister - the soon to be prime minister Pee Pee will be coming for their uteruses (uteri?)

The foolishness here?

That may have been a valid concern five or ten years ago for them.

But meow?

They have about as much a chance of having a baby as I would.

Menopause has made them as much of a reproductive threat as a unik.

Another unique thing?

Though members of all three parties have historically been on both sides of the abortion issue, that cause has been put to bed here in Canada decades ago.

Seems like some folks here are watching a little too much CNN - or worse - MSNBC.
