Being weirdly wired isn’t all losing my wallet and not paying bills on time. Weird wiring has its benefits.

Me?

I’m an idea generation machine. Constantly distracted and regularly in my head, more ideas and fun thoughts come way through the course of a day than I can possibly handle.

I’ll put funny lines in that category too.

Here’s one from yesterday:

You think you have stuff to worry about? Me? I’ve got more frets than a guitar factory

Not the best joke.

And?

I wanted a place for it to live.

Until meow, it only lived on an index card.

That index card lived in a box.

That box lived under my chair.

It’s a place where I keep warm ideas that I’m not ready to use. I know they are there, waiting for me to see them again. Those ideas? They’re like the fire department. I use them in case of emergency.

Mostly though?

That box is a place they go to die.

The same can be said for my remarkable tablet, the voice memos I send to myself, the emails I write to myself, the Trello cards, the half started posts h…
