How angry do you want to be?
How depressed?
How stuck would you like to stay?
Sometimes, I wonder if our ‘character’ is made of glue, our sense of self created out of some sort of odd epoxy.
Either than, or the stories in our heads are about as substantial, nourishing and free flowing as bubble gum.
We likely don’t really want to be angry, stuck or depressed.
And we are.
But how are we stuck?
Not just how badly, or how painfully, but what is the process by which we are bound?
Are you stuck in the mud?
Are you a hysterical delusional hippies Krazy glued to a floor, wasting everyone’s time and energy with a glorious heroic glue-story?
Are you duct tape stuck?
Or is this the kind of friction fit situation that you’re going to have to chew your arm off at the shoulder to survive?
How stuck are you is one question to get you going.
But the better question is this:
How are you stuck?
(there are usually more layers than you realize)
