Happy Winter!
On doing a Bon Iver
Is the word Iver a word for winter?
Dunno, dear reader, but Bon Iver are a band that have named one of their albums Bon Iver.
I like this Bon Iver Bon Iver album.
In fact, I play it every time I write the ‘Foolsletter here.
I don’t tell myself that I’m going to write.
Instead, I say that I’m dong a Bon Iver.
And most Foolsletters typically are written by the time the album is complete.
Except this one of course.
This Bon Iver about doing a Bon Iver took less than half of a Bon Iver.
Repetition seems to lead to efficiency.
I still don’t know what ‘Iver’ means.
I do know what it sounds like.
It’s the beginning of creativity, the start of something good.
Perhaps tomorrow I’ll write a post to an album by Frank Wisniewski.
What would happen if the foolsletter sounded like a Polka?
Enquiring minds want to know.
Stay golden, you fools!
