Imagine beginning to bake a cake. You’ve assembled all of the ingredients and combined them in a bowl as you ought to.
You’ve put in the effort…
So far.
There’s still a lot to do and time to do it.
You’re only half way there.
The cake isn’t a cake yet.
Sure, there may not be any results to speak of.
Wouldn’t it be nice if someone bought it?
Heck, if someone bought the cake before you baked it, that would be super inspiring.
That’s not typically how things go though.
It sure would be great if that cake would just bake itself
That would save you from forgetting about it and having it burn.
But once you start baking, you’ll burn stuff. That can be discouraging.
Keep going.
Focus on outputs.
Turn on the oven.
Prepare the cake pan.
Outcomes will come later.
One foot in front of the other…
Anyone can complete this. It’s merely a matter of making a choice.
