Oh Mr Twain, with your brilliant brain, to me such statement is quite insane. We’re born ahead. Well. We’re born with a head.

And typically? As infants, we’re a-head of our time.

Well, actually our heads are so big that they can’t be fully cooked when we’re inside. We are living breathing liabilities until we’re four. We’re born into a world we know nothing about and are shown the way by people who also came out uncooked.

Born a full three months too early, the experience of being human is one of being in the present. The future? I’ll likely see and experience being human further into the future than my Nanny. My kids will do the same. They will live a future most of us will never know and have been raised with knowledge we can’t really comprehend.

If you’re younger than I am, you’ll likely see far beyond me.
