How do you make decisions? Does it really matter?

In season three, episode 4 of Community, the Study group uses the roll of a die to determine who goes downstairs to get the pizza. In doing so, they create seven different timelines, including ‘The Darkest Timeline’.

Given the events of the last few years, I’m sometimes curios who has been rolling the dice and what timeline we’re actually living in.

Harmon’s a bit of a hero of mine. In his work, characters talk directly to the audience and there are multiple plays within plays and references within references. He’s downright Shakespearean in his approach.

In Rick and Morty, Harmon the mind blowing fullness of the concept of infinity is fully embraced. Watching reinforces my felt understanding of just what a random, absurd, miracle our improbable existence actually is.

A lot of y’all have the illusion that you have some control. Still more believe that we flesh bunnies can be ‘reasonable’ or ‘objective’. I do not see any evidence of this. A…
