Where do you keep your eggs?

My mom, like most people I grew up with keeps her eggs clearly and securely in the refrigerator

My wife lived in Japan for years. There, the eggs aren’t refrigerated - even in the grocery store.

Given this, she generally keeps them on the counter.

I find this unnerving.

What if I eat raw eggs - will they kill me?

It seem so unnatural.

And?

Apparently much of the rest of the world leaves their eggs unrefrigerated.

Who knew?

Well.

The ‘rest of the world’ I guess.

Just because you do things a certain way, and everyone you know has always done it that way, it may not be the only way.

A remarkable fool finds a way that works for them ands sticks with it.

There is no right way unless you start breaking the eggs - my advise here?

Don’t smash them on your forehead.

There are some ways of doing things that leave egg all over your face.
