Ok, so before we move, I want to check in with you. What are you expecting once on the other side? The Book attempted to be casual, but clearly, he was concerned?

The author bit his lip. I’m not sure, perhaps sunshine, free time, warm weather and juicy waves? Am I asking too much?

Maybe. Expectations can get heavy, really heavy?

So what?

Have you ever encountered a black hole in human form? They started out as stars, legends in their own minds. They’ve those who’ve burnt brightly, then collapsed under the weight of their own egos and expectations.

The authors brow furrowed. He looked puzzled.

When people expect a lot from themselves or from the world, they get disappointed. Some get down right bitter. Not dealing well with the disappointment…
