getting it wrong from the beginning
When it comes to books and their creation, I’ve done it wrong:
I’ve been over promising and under delivering.
Things are moving forward.
I’m a jet ski guy in a glacial world…
It’s still there.
That nutty ole’ book dream.
And guess what?
It’s a lot closer than I thought.
I’ve pulled together some great post from the foolsletter. Arranged in four sections, The Book of Wrong Answers Vol 4 - A Strange Cope, covers The Wisdom of a fool, The Inception of Folly, Playing the Fool and Jest’s Journey’s End.
This volume is over thirty thousand words of weirdness. It’s less than five percent of the total word count so far.
Given this, I now have both a methodology and a backlog. The books will likely start to fly out of me. It’s still a ways off. I need to finish the introduction and do a bit of tying things together.
And after many promises, it seems like I’ve found a way that works for now.
Thank you for all of your time and attention.
As a regular reader, you may not need the book. It’s all here!
Though you likely wouldn’t know where to begin.
That was almost impossible.
I cooked up a neat little epilogue / post script / hidden track to tag onto the end of this.
And guess what?
Rather than making you read the Book of Wrong Answers the right way by beginning at the beginning, here’s a chance to get it wrong even before the darn thing gets published.
Read the book like a remarkable fool.
In the beginning? Read the ending first.
Here’s the Epilogue:
(and the ONLY part with such ‘fancy’ writing)
Jest's journey ends, wisdom ascends,
In folly's dance, a lesson amends.
Through jest and play, truth finds its way,
As the final curtain falls, wisdom holds sway.
Fool's laughter fades, wisdom remains,
At jest's farewell, wisdom entertains.
A burning fart, our life’s short flame .
