Dear reader, I am drained.

I was drained yesterday.

I was drained the day before.

I’ve been in need of a break for three days meow.

And today?

How is it that just when you get near the end of something, those last few miles are the most difficult to get through.

While at the same time?

The end of the woods are within sight.

So today?

I put myself into an easier gear.

I pedaled away at my craft.

I showed up and pushed just enough.

And now?

I’ve glided home.

The further you can go, the shorter the finish line can seem.

Sure, it’s work and things suck.

But.

Once you’ve been there, you know the pain.

Back off a bit.

Keep those feet moving.

And eventually?

The recovery will just become another part of the routine.
