Stories worth telling lead to one of these three points.
They either need to:
One, make you laugh.
Or two?
Make you cry.
Or three?
They feel like a slap in the face leaving you wondering why you started reading in the first place.
And yet?
You continue to follow along hoping for one of the first two stories to show up.
